Booking an appointment

An electronically booked appointment is required to visit the consulate

Please note that booking multiple appointments for one single case is not allowed. In case of multiple bookings, all appointments can be cancelled without notification.

Following a no-show clients who fail to notify the consulate in advance may receive a negative ranking when making a new appointment.


Preparing for your appointment with the consulate

Please consult our website as well as the information provided in the appointment system for each case type carefully.

Please note that Hungarian is the official language in Hungary. Although the staff of the consulate stays ot your disposal in English the Hungarian authorities only accept forms filled out in Hungarian language. Therefore we kindly ask all costumers to fill out all forms in Hungarian.

Please download and fill (but do not sign) application forms from our website in advance.


Handling your case

As our calander is full we my not accept late arrivals therefore we kindly ask you to always be on time.

You may file your application exclusively for the case type you made a booking for.

Please kindly note the case will only be dealt with once all obligatory documents have been presented.

Please kindly note that by paying consular fees, Maestro debit cards (PIN) are accepted.
