The last couple of weeks the young talented Hungarian musicians Emma Petruska (cello), Máté Tomasz (cello) and the Trépide String Quartet were welcomed in the Province of North Holland by The International Holland Music Sessions (TIHMS).

Every summer, since its foundation 30 years ago, The International Holland Music Sessions attracts more than 100 young musical talents from all over the world. During a period of five weeks, the participants of the The TIHMS Summer Academy & Festival receive lessons and masterclasses from renowned musicians and music educators affiliated with top institutes around the world. The result is shared with the public in over 150 concerts by ensembles formed specially for the occasion in about 25 different locations throughout the Netherlands.

On Wednesday 14 August, the Cultural Manager of the Embassy of Hungary, Nina Hauer, attended the TIHMS open air concert in Bergen by the Trépide String Quartet performing works from Beethoven, Mozart and Debussy.
