On the occasion of the national day of Hungary, 15 March, the President of Hungary H.E. János Áder has awarded Willem van Lieshout clinical psychologist, psychotherapist, the Silver Cross of Merit of Hungary in recognition of his one-and-a-half-decade-long voluntary work for the Hungarian equine-assisted therapeutic education.
The decoration was presented by Ambassador András Kocsis during a ceremony on 17 June 2022 at the Embassy of Hungary in The Hague.
