Ambassador András Kocsis visited the province of Drenthe on 11 February. The Ambassador met with the King’s Commissioner Ms. Jetta Klijnsma, with whom he had a discussion about the bilateral cultural and economic ties and possibilities for cooperation.
The province has been cooperating with the municipality of Nagykanizsa since 2016 in the framework of an international project supported by Interreg Europe Program. The RuralGrowth project focuses on increasing the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises in the rural tourism sector. The municipality of Nagykanizsa is the leading partner and the five partners are coming from different European countries, the province of Drenthe giving the Dutch partner.
