Ladislav Hamran, President of the European Union Agency for Criminal Justice Cooperation (Eurojust) and Slovak national member, has done outstanding work in deepening international criminal justice cooperation, in particular between Hungary and Slovakia, and in developing criminal justice cooperation between EU Member States. In recognition of his diplomatic and professional activities, Dr. Tamás Sulyok, President of the Republic of Hungary, awarded Ladislav Hamran the Officer’s Cross of the Order of Merit of Hungary on the occasion of the National Day of 20 August 2024. The award was presented by Ambassador Dániel Horogszegi Szilágyi-Landeck at the Embassy of Hungary in The Hague on 28 August 2024.
