The poetry evening celebrating Hungarian poet Miklós Radnóti organized by the Dutch Mikes Kelemen Circle in the Haagse Kunstkring in The Hague was a big success. Both Dutch and Hungarian audience enjoyed Radnót's magic with words.

Translators Orsolya Réthelyi and Arjaan Van Nimwegen were able to translate the depth, musicality, playfulness, warmth and rhythm of Radnóti's poems into Dutch.

Anita Poolman and Mar-Lin Schut gave a great interpretation of the works. And thanks to actor Róbert Laczkó Vass and pianist András Szép, the audience had a beautiful musical experience after which Radnóti's poems will surely spread even further.

The event was supported by the Embassy of Hungary in The Hague.
