2021. A path in the Weizigtpark in Dordrecht has been named after the Hungarian football coach Árpád Weisz. The Board of Mayor and Aldermen had decided so after a petition by the Stolpersteine Foundation was handed over to the municipal council in July.

Weisz was born in Hungary in 1896. Following a successful football career as a player in Hungary, he became the youngest coach ever to gain a Serie A title in Italy. He continued on to coach teams to two additional Serie A titles before moving to the Netherlands where he coached the local Dordrecht football team. He was murdered by the Nazis at Auschwitz concentration camp, together with his family of four (including his wife Elena, his son Roberto, and his daughter Clara).

The Stolpersteine Foundation aims to keep the memory of the victims of Holocaust alive. In 2017 a Stolpersteine laying ceremony in Dordrecht honored Weisz with one of the brass stones (Stolpersteine) by artist Gunter Demnig.
