On the occasion of the national day of Hungary, 15 March, the President of Hungary H.E. János Áder awarded High Commissioner Abdrakhmanov the Officer’s Cross of the Order of Merit of Hungary, in recognition of his outstanding efforts to promote minority protection, integration of multi-ethnic societies, as well as positive inter-ethnic relations.
The decoration was presented by Ambassador András Kocsis during a ceremony on 10 May 2022 at the Embassy of Hungary in The Hague.
