István Lepsényi, Minister of State for Economic Development and Regulation of the Ministry for National Economy visited the Netherlands on 8 December.
Mr Lepsényi exchanged views with Mr Mark Frequin, Director-General of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment and his colleagues about connected and automated driving, the best practices of the Netherlands and Hungary’s aspiration to become Central Europe’s automotive industry innovation centre. The Dutch experiences and the automotive industry test track in Zalaegerszeg complement each other, and the Dutch legal framework can provide useful feedback for the upcoming Hungarian legislation.
Minister of State Lepsényi also had a meeting with Professor Henk Nijmeijer, Chair of Dynamics and Control at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Technische Universiteit Eindhoven.
