On the occasion of the commemoration of the Hungarian Revolution of 1956, the Embassy of Hungary held a reception in the Gemeentemuseum Den Haag. Over 200 invitees from the Hungarian and international community in the Netherlands attended the beautiful event on Thursday evening 18 October. 

The Hungarian Minister of Justice, László Trócsányi, was a special guest during the event. After a short speech by Ambassador Kocsis, the Minister addressed the audience. 

He was followed by Go Short International Short Film Festival director Kirsten Ruber, who announced that Hungary will be focus country of the Nijmegen-based festival in 2019. More information can be read here

After a short piano performance by Dutch-Hungarian pianist Valentina Tóth, the reception continued. Guests were offered Hungarian wine and bites.
