Ambassador Tóth held his presentation during the most recent meeting of the OPCW’s Executive Council. In the presentation of his vision, Tóth highlighted his three-decade long experience as a tested and trusted leader in the international field and that he would deliver excellent leadership to the organization on the basis of rule-based fairness, integrity, and transparency.

The Executive Council will decide upon the post in October of 2017, after which all states who are a member of the OPCW will elect the person during the Conference of States Parties of the OPCW in November 2017.
