Hungarians in The Hague remembered the Hungarian State Foundation Day and St. Stephen with an uplifting ecumenical service and a fantastic concert by the Szentegyháza/Vlăhiţa Children's Philharmonic (Fili), a renowned Hungarian choir and orchestra from Transylvania, Romania.
In his welcome speech Hungarian Ambassador Dániel Horogszegi Szilágyi-Landeck underlined the importance of togetherness of Hungarians, the power of music in breaking down barriers and building new worlds.
Fili’s concert series in the Netherlands has been supported by Hungarian organizations and congregations, as well as the Embassy of Hungary.
