On May 15, 2024, EuroAtlantic Business Consultancy, the Mathias Corvinus Collegium (MCC), and the Embassy of Hungary in the Netherlands organized a panel discussion at the House of Europe in The Hague. The event aimed to explore the potential for Hungarian-Dutch scientific partnerships and cooperation, while also shedding light on the challenging situation faced by Hungarian academic organizations, students, and researchers following their exclusion from all EU support programs, such as Erasmus and Horizon Europe.

The event was opened by Dániel Szilágyi-Landeck Horogszegi, Ambassador of Hungary to the Netherlands. Among the distinguished speakers were Rodrigo Ballester, Ministerial Commissioner responsible for the internationalization of Hungarian higher education and research, and Prof. Dr. János Levendovszky, Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation at Budapest University of Technology and Economics.

Following the presentations, participants engaged in discussions about specific cooperation opportunities during the reception.
