On 9 April 2022 Hungarian musicians and singers living in the Netherlands, together with the Amsterdam Hungarian Choir (conducted by Máté Lachegyi) and The Hague Hungarian Choir (conducted by Katalin Kovács) gave a joint concert to help the refugees of the war in Ukraine. The evening was opened with the welcoming words of Ambassador András Kocsis.

In addition to Hungarian musicians, Dutch, Ukrainian and Russian musicians made the program compiled by music director Katalin Kovács even more special. The translator Mari Alföldi recited the poem Before Easter by Hungarian poet Mihály Babits both in Hungarian and in her own translation in Dutch. The program was enriched by a variety of instruments - piano, guitar, horn, organ – and pieces of different styles of music.

The income reaches those in need through the Hungarian Ecumenical Charity.
