On March 19, 2025, Ambassador Dániel Horogszegi Szilágyi-Landeck and Science Diplomatic Attaché Edit Pápai visited Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR), where they met with Prof. Annelien Bredenoord, Chairwoman of EUR. The discussions focused on strengthening scientific cooperation between Hungary and the Netherlands.
The meeting also addressed challenges faced by Hungarian students and researchers due to their exclusion from the Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe programs. Both sides emphasized the importance of the freedom of education, international cooperation in education and research and explored future joint research projects in biomedical technology, artificial intelligence, sustainability, and social sciences.
