On 5 July, Ambassador Kocsis paid a courtesy visit to Europol.
Accompanied by Mr Balázs Magyar, Third Secretary at the Embassy of Hungary, Ambassador Kocsis met with Executive Director Catherine De Bolle and the Head of Hungarian Liaison Bureau, pol. Lt Col. Zsolt Vas and his colleagues.
The role of Hungary in the daily work of Europol was discussed, with special regard to cooperation with the countries in the Western Balkans, and Hungarian efforts in implementing the PNR Directive.
