Hungarian Exhibitors at the Aquatech Expo in Amsterdam

Between March 11-13, 2025, a Hungarian water management delegation visited the Netherlands, led by Zsolt V. Németh, State Secretary for Water Management at the Ministry of Energy. Accompanied by Ambassador Dániel Horogszegi Szilágyi-Landeck, the delegation visited Hungarian companies exhibiting at the Aquatech Expo. The national stand, organized by HEPA, featured six Hungarian companies, while four additional companies had individual booths.

Ambassador’s Visit to Erasmus University Rotterdam

On March 19, 2025, Ambassador Dániel Horogszegi Szilágyi-Landeck and Science Diplomatic Attaché Edit Pápai visited Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR), where they met with Prof. Annelien Bredenoord, Chairwoman of EUR. The discussions focused on strengthening scientific cooperation between Hungary and the Netherlands.

Advent Concert in The Hague 8 December 2024

The 10th anniversary of the Hungarian Choir of The Hague and the successful Hungarian EU Presidency in The Hague was celebrated with a successful Advent Concert and performances by outstanding musicians. For this unforgettable musical experience, we would like to thank Katalin Kovács, founder and artistic director of the Choir, Szilveszter Bornai, current choirmaster, Máté Lachegyi, organist, as well as the excellent soloists and all the members of the choir.

Presentation of the Officer’s Cross of the Order of Merit of Hungary to Lídia van Driel Gesztelyi

Lídia Mária Van Driel Gesztelyi is an astronomer, Doctor of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Emeritus Scientific Advisor of the Konkoly Thege Miklós Institute of Astronomy of the HUN-REN Centre for Astronomy and Earth Sciences, Professor Emeritus of the Mullard Space Science Laboratory of University College London, who has been doing exemplary and outstanding research for many decades.
