Between March 11-13, 2025, a Hungarian water management delegation visited the Netherlands, led by Zsolt V. Németh, State Secretary for Water Management at the Ministry of Energy. Accompanied by Ambassador Dániel Horogszegi Szilágyi-Landeck, the delegation visited Hungarian companies exhibiting at the Aquatech Expo. The national stand, organized by HEPA, featured six Hungarian companies, while four additional companies had individual booths.
The delegation also met with the director of Vewin, the Dutch professional organization for drinking water providers, to exchange experiences. Both parties acknowledged that Hungary and the Netherlands face similar challenges in water management, particularly concerning extreme weather conditions, droughts, and soil pollution.
