On October 9, 2024, the 11th meeting of the Hungarian Scholars’ Club took place at the Trade Office of the Embassy of Hungary in The Hague. The event was opened by Mr. Dániel Csonka, Deputy Head of Mission. Prof. Dr. Péter Kovács, judge at the International Criminal Court, delivered a lecture on international jurisdiction. He provided insights into topics such as the importance of international courts in state relations, the main rules for the selection of judges, and how these courts function. The topic sparked great interest, leading to an engaging discussion that continued after the presentation.
