Participation of the Embassy of Hungary in The Hague in the Hongarije Plaza in Barneveld

On September 27, the Hungarian Embassy in The Hague took part in the #HongarijePlaza event, which attracted hundreds of Hungarians living in the Netherlands and Dutch friends interested in Hungary.

Ambassador Dániel Horogszegi Szilágyi-Landeck greeted the 40-year-old Hungarian Dance House (táncház) in Utrecht, commemorating the beginnings of the dance house movement in Hungary and the Netherlands, as well as the commitment of the dance house organizers and participants to Hungarian music and dance. To mark the 40th anniversary, Hungary’s Ministry of Culture and Innovation issued a certificate, which the ambassador ceremoniously presented to Mr. Crispijn Oomes, the leader of the Hungarian Dance House in Utrecht.

During Hongarije Plaza, our embassy's consular department operated an information desk. In the children's corner we held craft workshops for the little ones, who had fun playing with the handmade hobby horses.

We would like to thank the organizers for the invitation.
