On 21 June, the Embassy of Hungary in The Hague led a Visegrád Group R&D delegation to visit the Eindhoven area, the high-tech centre of the Netherlands. The Embassy invited Prof. Zdenek Hanzálek from the Czech Republic, Dr. Máté Zöldy from Hungary, Prof. Branislav Sitár from Slovakia and Dr. Marek Dlugosz from Poland, who are all specialised in self-driving vehicles.

Together with representatives from the V4 embassies in The Hague, they visited AutomotiveNL (the cluster organization for the Dutch automotive industry), the Automotive Campus (the center of several significant automotive R+D companies), the TNO (Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research) in Helmond and the automotive and robotics lab in the Technical University Eindhoven.

Eindhoven is one of the most inventive cities in the world and a hotspot for automotive technology and smart mobility. The Hungarian presidency of the Visegrád Group aims to build partnerships beyond Central Europe. The exchange of knowledge and experience on this program was a perfect example of how V4 Connects.
