On 8 June 2021, Ambassador Kocsis met with Mr. Isbrand Ho, General Manager of BYD Auto Europe at the Embassy of Hungary and presented the invitation letter for the Planet Budapest 2021 Sustainability Expo and Summit. Ambassador Kocsis and Mr. Ho also discussed BYD's investment plans in Hungary. BYD Electric Bus and Truck Hungary Ltd. manufactures electric buses and chassis in the northern Hungarian town of Komarom.
Sustainable & Renewable eMobility & Energy Executive Ho accepted the invitation as a panelist in the ’Transport – Leapfrogging in Technology or Changing Our Behaviour?’ panel discussion.
Planet Budapest 2021 will be one of the first events to be held in the post-COVID period, so it will be an important forum for a professional discussion about the post-epidemic opportunities related to the sustainability.
